We recommend that your child see a pediatric dentist once their first tooth appears, or by their first birthday.

Typically, a child will stop visiting a pediatric dentist at 18 years old.

Pediatric dentistry is the most ideal option for teenagers.

In order to become a pediatric dentist, one must complete a two to three-year residency focusing on children and teenagers after they graduate dental school.

Pediatric dentists understand children’s bodies and behaviors and know how to make young patients feel comfortable. They can also treat specific dental issues within the mouths of infants and children.

Our pediatric dentists are dedicated to the oral health of children from one year old until they reach 18. Our team has the experience, education, and qualifications to care for children’s teeth and gums throughout the various stages of childhood.

A pediatric dentist will remove all present decay from the toddler’s tooth and fill the space with a tooth-colored composite material. This material will harden and strengthen the tooth.

A family dentist will treat patients of all ages. However, a pediatric dentist treats only children and teens.

Our pediatric dentists are specifically trained to work with children and teens. In order to ensure your children are getting the utmost care, call our team of pediatric dentists today.

For children who have severe dental disease, sometimes it makes sense to have all of their dental work done at one time while they are asleep. Want to know more? Contact our pediatric dentists today.

We accept most insurances and are in-network with Blue Cross Blue Shield, Delta Dental, Cigna, Metlife, and Unum. Even though we may not be listed as an “in-network” provider for your insurance, it may allow in-network benefits if there is no in-network pediatric dental provider. As a courtesy, we bill insurance companies directly for services, but because insurance policies vary, we can only estimate your coverage in good faith. We are unable to guarantee coverage due to the complexities of insurance contracts. Your estimated patient portion is expected at the time of treatment, unless special arrangements have been made prior to your appointment.

We also offer CareCredit for families that do not have dental insurance coverage, or for treatments that may not be covered by your dental insurance. If you have any questions about payment, billing, or insurance, our courteous staff is always available to answer them.

“My kids love this place. The whole staff is so nice and welcoming to us and our children. The place is decorated so neatly and fun plus there are tons of stuff for the kids to play with so they don’t get bored waiting. My kids actually get excited to go here, they are never nervous about their dentist appointment.”
